The Ernie Nester Chapter of Trout Unlimited (ENCTU) announced new officers and three new members of the Board of Directors who began their term in October. The new officers and the board lead the organization, with projects including stream cleanups, fingerling trout stockings, stream monitoring and analysis, as well as meetings and classes that teach members about rod building, fly tying and fly casting.

Placing nearly ten tons of limestone sand into the headwaters of the Middle Fork of the Williams River in the Monongahela National Forest will improve water quality for brook trout, the state’s official fish, according to the Ernie Nester Chapter of Trout Unlimited, which announced today the success of their 9th Annual Bucket Brigade.
